2011 ADAC GT Masters

The 2011 ADAC GT Masters was the fifth season of the ADAC GT Masters, a German grand‑tourer (GT) sports‑car racing series organised by the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC). The championship comprised eight double‑header meetings (a total of sixteen races) held on permanent racing circuits throughout Germany. The season commenced on 24 April 2011 at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and concluded on 2 October 2011 at the Hockenheimring.

Championship title
The drivers’ championship was won by the pairing of Dino Lunardi (Italy) and Alexandros Margaritis (Greece), who accumulated the highest points total over the sixteen races. Their success was achieved while competing for Reiter Engineering in a Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+.

A diverse field of manufacturers and private teams contested the season. Notable entries included:

The eight venues, each hosting two races, were:

Points system
Points were awarded to the top ten finishers in each race on a descending scale (25‑18‑15‑12‑10‑8‑6‑4‑2‑1). Drivers shared points with co‑drivers who contested the same car during a race.

Season summary
The championship featured close competition among a wide range of GT3 machinery, with multiple manufacturers achieving race victories. Reiter Engineering’s Lamborghini team demonstrated consistent performance, ultimately securing the drivers’ title for Lunardi and Margaritis.
