2010 V-League

The 2010 V-League refers to the 2009–10 V-League season, the sixth season of the professional volleyball league in South Korea, organized by the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO). The season commenced in late 2009 and concluded in April 2010.

Season Overview: The 2009–10 season featured a regular season followed by a playoff stage to determine the ultimate champions in both the men's and women's divisions.

Men's League:

  • Participating Teams: Six professional teams competed in the men's league:
    • Daejeon Samsung Fire Bluefangs
    • Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers
    • Incheon Korean Air Jumbos
    • Gumi LIG Insurance Greaters
    • Suwon KEPCO Vixtorm
    • Sangmu (military team)
  • Regular Season Winner: Daejeon Samsung Fire Bluefangs
  • Championship Winner: The Daejeon Samsung Fire Bluefangs emerged as champions, defeating the Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers in the championship series. This marked their seventh consecutive V-League title.

Women's League:

  • Participating Teams: Five professional teams competed in the women's league:
    • Daejeon KT&G Arias (now KGC CheongKwanJang Red Sparks)
    • Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate
    • Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders
    • GS Caltex Seoul KIXX
    • Seongnam Korea Expressway Hi-Pass
  • Regular Season Winner: Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate
  • Championship Winner: The Daejeon KT&G Arias secured the championship title, overcoming the Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate in the championship series. This was their first V-League championship.
