The 2008 Ýokary Liga was the 16th season of the Ýokary Liga, the premier professional football league in Turkmenistan. It represented the top-tier club football competition within the country for that year.
Overview The season commenced on April 19, 2008, and concluded on November 15, 2008. Initially, 11 teams participated, though the Turkmenistan U-17 team later withdrew, reducing the active participants to 10 for the majority of the season. FC Aşgabat won the championship, securing their second consecutive league title.
