The 2003 Superstock European Championship was the fifth season of the FIM Superstock championship. The championship followed the same calendar as the Superbike World Championship, omitting the non-European rounds. It began on 2 March at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, and concluded on 19 October at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France.
Michel Fabrizio, riding for Alstare Suzuki Italia, won the riders' championship with 140 points, narrowly defeating Lorenzo Lanzi (Rox Racing Team, Ducati) who finished with 137 points. James Ellison (HAP Racing, Suzuki) placed third with 112 points.
The season consisted of nine rounds held across Europe: Spain (Valencia), Italy (Monza), Germany (Oschersleben), United Kingdom (Silverstone), San Marino (Misano), Europe (Brands Hatch), Netherlands (Assen), Italy (Imola), and France (Magny-Cours). Race winners across the season were Lorenzo Lanzi (4 wins), Michel Fabrizio (4 wins), and James Ellison (1 win).
The championship featured a diverse entry list with manufacturers including Suzuki, Ducati, Yamaha, Honda, and Aprilia, all using Pirelli tyres.
