1998 Grand Prix (snooker)

The 1998 Grand Prix was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place from October 16 to 25, 1998, at the Guild Hall in Preston, England. It was the third ranking event of the 1998/1999 snooker season.

Stephen Lee won the tournament, defeating Marco Fu 9–2 in the final. This was Lee's second ranking title.

The tournament featured a 32-player main draw, preceded by qualifying rounds. Players were seeded based on the world rankings. The highest break of the tournament was 142, made by Ronnie O'Sullivan.
