The 1993 Romanian Open was a men's tennis tournament held in Bucharest, Romania, played on outdoor clay courts. It was the inaugural edition of the tournament and was classified as part of the ATP World Series within the 1993 ATP Tour. The event took place from September 13 to September 19, 1993.
In the singles draw, Croatian player Goran Ivanišević, who was the top seed, won the title. He defeated Andrei Cherkasov in the final with a score of 6–2, 7–6(5).
The doubles competition was won by Menno Oosting and Libor Pimek. They defeated the Romanian duo of George Cosac and Ciprian Porumb in the final with a score of 7–6, 7–6.
