The 1990 European Open was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place in Tongeren, Belgium, from December 3 to December 9, 1990. It was the second edition of the European Open, which formed part of the 1990/1991 snooker season. John Parrott won the tournament, defeating Stephen Hendry 10–6 in the final. The highest break of the tournament was 139, made by Stephen Hendry.
