Ōnomachi Station

Ōnomachi Station (大野町駅, Ōnomachi-eki) is a railway station located in the town of Aizumisato, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Lines

The station is served by the Ban'etsu West Line, and is located 101.4 rail kilometers from the official starting point of the line at Kōriyama.

Station layout

The station consists of a single side platform serving one bi-directional track. There is no station building, but a small, simple waiting shelter is provided on the platform. The station is unattended (無人駅, mujin-eki).

History

• The station opened on July 15, 1926.
• Upon the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
