İrem Damla Şahin (born 2 February 2000) is a Turkish women's football goalkeeper who plays in the Turkish Women's Football Super League for Ünye Kadın. She has also been a member of the Turkey women's national under‑19 football team.
Early life and education
Şahin was born in Ordu, Turkey. She obtained her football license on 4 June 2015 from her hometown club Yenimahalle 52 Spor, which is also known as Soyaspor Gençlik.
Club career
- Soyaspor (2015–2018) – Şahin debuted in the Turkish Women's Third League on 8 November 2015 and made 50 league appearances over three seasons.
- Konak Belediyespor (2018–2020) – She transferred to the First League side Konak Belediyespor for the 2018–19 season, recording 12 league caps. She was named the “Best Goalkeeper” of the 2018 Turkish Girls' Championship.
- Ünye Kadın (2023–present) – After a hiatus during the COVID‑19 pandemic, Şahin joined Ünye Kadın for the 2023‑24 First League season, appearing in six matches as the team won promotion to the Women's Super League. She currently wears jersey number 26.
International career
Şahin was called up to the Turkey women's national under‑19 team in 2018. She made her debut in a friendly against Poland on 30 August 2018 and participated in the qualifying and elite rounds of the 2019 UEFA Women's Under‑19 Championship qualification, earning a total of five caps.
