İlkin İlham oğlu Qırtımov (born 4 November 1990) is an Azerbaijani professional footballer who plays as a defender for Zagatala in the Azerbaijan First League and the Azerbaijan national team.
Early Life and Youth Career
Qırtımov was born on 4 November 1990 in Zaqatala, Azerbaijan SSR. He began playing football during his school years in Zaqatala under the guidance of coach Shaban Shirdanov. In 2008, he signed a contract with Simurq PFC and joined their youth system.
Club Career
Simurq (2009–2015): Qırtımov made his debut in the Azerbaijan Premier League in 2010. Over six seasons with Simurq, he made 125 league appearances and scored 2 goals.
Keşla (2015–2018): He moved to Keşla FK, where he made 68 league appearances and scored 3 goals over three seasons, also featuring in European competition.
Neftchi Baku (2018): On 9 January 2018, Neftchi Baku announced the signing of Qırtımov on a contract until the end of the 2017–18 season. He made 6 league appearances for the club.
Zira (2018–2019): He spent one season with Zira, making 23 league appearances and scoring 1 goal.
Return to Keşla / Shamakhi (2019–2022): On 8 July 2019, Qırtımov returned to Keşla FK (later renamed Shamakhi), signing a one-year contract. He made 49 league appearances over three seasons.
Gabala (2022–2024): On 23 May 2022, Gabala announced the signing of Qırtımov on a one-year contract. On 6 June 2023, he extended his contract for an additional two years. He made 54 league appearances for the club.
Kapaz (2024–2025): On 29 July 2024, Kapaz announced the signing of Qırtımov on a one-year contract.
Zagatala (2025–present): In 2025, he joined Zagatala in the Azerbaijan First League.
International Career
Qırtımov made his debut for the Azerbaijan national team in 2014. He earned a total of 5 caps for the national side, with his last appearance recorded on 10 October 2014.
