Édouard Spach (31 March 1801 – 19 September 1879) was a French botanist active in the 19th century. He worked at the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle in Paris, where he served as curator of the museum’s herbarium. Spach is best known for his multi‑volume work Histoire naturelle des végétaux, published between 1834 and 1845, which presented detailed descriptions and illustrations of a wide range of plant taxa, many of them newly described.
His contributions include:
