Álvaro Morales Fernández (born 19 February 1969) is a Spanish actor and television presenter. He was born in Barcelona, Spain, and began his professional training in acting at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.
Morales gained early recognition for his role as the pediatrician Alberto “El Maestro” in the popular Spanish television series Médico de familia (1995–1999). He subsequently appeared in several other TV series, including the long‑running medical drama Hospital Central (2002–2008), where he portrayed Dr. Fernando Llopis. His film work includes supporting roles in movies such as Los amantes del círculo polar (1998) and Tu vida en 65 segundos (2010).
In addition to acting, Morales has worked as a television presenter, notably hosting the cultural program Cine de barrio on Televisió de Catalunya. He continues to be active in Spanish theatre, film, and television, participating in both dramatic and comedic productions.
